WESTGATE RESORTS – NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK CITY
At the heart of Tudor City in New York City you are going to find a newly renovated project of Westgate Resorts. The concept was to preserve and revive its interior architecture, design spaces and style components.
The scope of work includes includes a lobby bar, hallways, different seating areas, a front desk area, restrooms, several configurations of guest rooms and guest suites areas. This included but not limited to architecture, interior design, mechanical, electrical and plumbing coordination, stakeholder changes, revisions and submission to the city and construction administration.
Assignments included interior design lead, construction documentation and drafting. In addition, selection and coordination of interior finishes and materials, finish floor design, detail design and incorporate them into the architecture construction document set.
Tudor Architecture is a type of architecture that was popular in England during the 16th century and is characterized by its black and white, elaborated brick, stone, arched doorways, spacious interior spaces, fireplaces and wood details. The structure is heavily influenced by gothic and baroque architecture. Later, it was translated into the interior design.
